About Us

The Tsitsikamma Adventure Festival was born from a shared vision among a collective of local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who recognised the potential of Storms River Village as a premier tourism destination.

Surrounded by dramatic landscapes, indigenous forests, and a rich cultural heritage, Storms River Village has long been a gateway to adventure. The festival was created to bring together the region’s strongest offerings—adrenaline-driven outdoor activities and authentic local culture—into one cohesive, immersive experience.

What began as a collaboration between tourism operators, local vendors, and community organisations has grown into a platform that:

  • Showcases  the Tsitsikamma region
  • Supports and uplifts local businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs
  • Promotes sustainable tourism and environmental awareness
  • Connects visitors directly with the community and its culture

By combining high-energy experiences like Draadkar Grand Prix; trail running and mountain biking, Misty Mountain / RedBull Padel tournament, Swallows Nest – Darts, Tsitsikamma Micro Brewer Beer Sprint Fynbos Golf & Country Estate /  TELKOM Business with vibrant markets, art, music, and food, the festival ensures visitors don’t just visit—they engage, explore, and connect.

At its core, the Tsitsikamma Adventure Festival reflects a simple idea:
tourism driven by community, powered by adventure, and enriched by culture.

The beneficiaries and the owners of the festival are the children of the Tsitsikamma. All donations raised will be distributed to the seven schools in the Tsitsikamma.

Entry is free. Please support the festival by donating.
